The Kalindi Devi Foundation offers women empowerment programs: education, rights and life skills, entrepreneurship development and prevention of women trafficking. Nepali women were born into a feminist society. In all cases, women’s rights are subordinate to men. Married primarily at a young age or without education, land rights or independent income, women are an essential part of society, relying on men for their welfare and bear a constant burden of cultural and social discrimination and violence against them.
Improving self-confidence and developing leadership skills. Promoting and providing higher education. Focusing on educating women and girls– the enablers of knowledge for future generations. Assisting disadvantaged rural women to gain financial and social independence. No woman can feel empowered in society if she does not feel safe.
The KDF Women Empowerment Program seeks to improve the quality of life of underprivileged, rural people where our projects improve their projects through economic tools, a basic education, improve health and live a life of violence.
