Hi my name Ekta Upadhyay, the eldest sister of the Upadhyay siblings. Currently I am attending University of Houston majoring biology and hope to follow a premed track in the future. I think the Kalindi Devi foundation is an inspiration and beautiful way to give back to our community while also preserving the memory of my strong hearted and caring grandmother.

My name is Ritu Upadhyay and I am one of the founding members of the Kalindi Devi Foundation. My passion for helping others began with the influence of my grandmother and parents. With their constant community services and genuine sincerity towards people, I learned the true value of human treatment, and how to use my resources in order to provide others with the same blessings I am provided. This foundation is a medium to reach people in worldwide and to give back to the community. Making a Difference starts with one action, and with the help of others, this foundation will continue to create a positive change in the world.

Hi! I’m Vinay Upadhyay, currently a second-year finance student at the McCombs School of Business. Along with my siblings, I am one of the founders of the Kalindi Devi Foundation, an initiative we started years ago to honor our grandmother’s vision.
What began as a simple idea has grown into a meaningful commitment to continue the work she cared so deeply about. Through this foundation, we strive to carry forward her legacy—serving others, supporting communities, and creating opportunities where they are needed most.
With the support of an incredible community by our side, we hope to make a lasting impact and help build a better world, just as she always envisioned.
